And yes, the musical interlude in EP1 was awesome. It was a nice introduction to Tokyo of that era. It really kind of transports you back there :)

I don’t think it’s Class S at all; it might draw from the cultural phenomenon but I doubt the structure of the story itself will be Class S.

I really just wanted an excuse to lecture about Class S at some point in time and Taishou Yakyuu Musume afforded a great chance to, being set in its time period and all. Raising awareness (even if it’s not necessary) is never a bad thing, I think.

Do you know if Taishou Yakyuu Musume is indeed Class S, or is it and assumption based on the setting and what you’ve seen so far? It would be fun if it was indeed true though.

Every series should have random musical interludes. It makes them 100% happier.

Any yuri/shoujo-ai/Class S (I am not skilled enough in harisplitting to assign such terms in specific sometimes) series that take themselves beyond skinservice is welcome. Even if it’s just relationshipservice.

My reaction to that song and dance through Tokyo was a good “lol what” and a big grin. If future episodes have random musical interludes, I will be in love with this series.

With this and Aoi Hana, JC Staff are really playing into the Class S/Shoujo-ai market. And I am enjoying it immensely.
